New Launder for Thickener

Structural audits had highlighted the structural integrity of the launder of a Concrete Thickener was compromised and at risk of failure if not addressed.

Requirements

• Options study for possible solutions confirmed that the best solution for remediation was the installation of a new, external, launder to the existing launder
• Inclusion of all project management, tender, contractor selection processes and execution
• Execution to be over a 2 week shutdown period with some pre-works to be carried out beforehand
• Budget - A$1 million 

Deliverables

• New structurally integral concrete launder added to existing concrete thickener
